Teaanna Corbin is the 2023 recipient of the Kevin Greenidge Charitable Trust (KGCT) Award for the Alleyne student with the best results in CSEC business studies.
“I am happy to have received the prize for my hard work. I will continue to perform at a high standard to realise my dreams of becoming an economist, computer scientist, or an actuary”, said Teaanna Corbin the former Alleynian said after accepting her award from Trustee Novaline Brewster. Teaanna, the Valedictorian of the class of 2023, received nine CSEC passes. Her studies included additional Mathematics, Principles of Business, Accounts, and Information Technology.
She’s gone on to Queen’s College, where she’s studying Accounts, Computer Science ,and Economics at CAPE.
Each year, the Kevin Greenidge Charitable Trust awards the Alleyne school student who excels in CSEC business studies to promote and sustain interest in business careers among young people. The founder of KGCT, Dr.Kevin Greenidge, is a former Alleynian who’s honoured to give back to his alma mater.
