Kevin Greenidge Charitable Trust Empowers Young Barbadians for Back-to-School 2024

The Kevin Greenidge Charitable Trust (KGCT) continued its mission to uplift vulnerable young Barbadians with a recent donation of essential back-to-school supplies and computers.

The charity distributed 10 back-to-school vouchers to teens and pre-teens, to help them buy supplies for this school year.  The charity also donated laptops to three students at secondary and tertiary institutions.

The (KGCT)works closely with the Barbados Child Care Board to identify students who would benefit most from financial, mentorship and coaching support. The Board plays a crucial role in ensuring that vulnerable children receive the care and protection they need.

Established in 2023, the (KGCT) was founded with the aim of reducing poverty and improving the lives of disadvantaged young Barbadians. Dr. Kevin Greenidge, the philanthropist behind the charity, is passionate about giving back to his community and providing opportunities for those in need.

The charity strives to encourage positive lifestyles and empower young people to reach their full potential. By providing essential resources like back-to-school supplies and technology, the charity is making a tangible difference in the lives of these students and helping them build brighter futures.
